Biography
Walter was born in 1879, the son of Thomas Newport and Bertha Starnes.[1]
He passed away in 1885 aged 5 years[2] DEATHS. NELSON EVENING MAIL, VOLUME XX, ISSUE 90, 18 APRIL 1885, PAGE 2[3] and was buried in Richmond Cemetery, Richmond, Tasman, New Zealand.[4]
