Abigail Newton was born on 04 Sep 1717, in Southborough, Worcester County, Massachusetts Bay Colony. She was the daughter of Benjamin Newton and Abigail (Knapp) Newton.

Marriage

Abigail was married three times. Her first marriage was to:

(#1) John Amsden, Jr.,. The two were married on 8 Feb 1738/9. John was the son of John and Hannah (Howe) Amsden.

(#2) Abigail's second marriage was to John Goodale, followed by,

(#3) Joseph Upham, b. 1712; d. 1792.
