Biography
Walter was born between November 1843 and March 1844 in Todmorden, Lancashire, England. He was the son of Thomas Newton and Mary (Hanson) Newton.[1][2]
In the 1851 census Walter (age 7) was living in Langfield, Yorkshire, England.[2]
When Walter was 21 he married on 26 September 1865 in Eccles, St Mary, Lancashire, England.[3][4]
In the 1871 census Walter (age 27) was living in Eccles, Lancashire, England.[5]
In the 1881 census Walter (age 37) was married, living in Barton Upon Irwell, Lancashire, England.[6]
In the 1891 census Walter (age 47) was living in Barton upon Irwell, Lancashire, England.[7]
Walter died at the age of 69 between June and September 1913 in Ashton Under Lyne, Lancashire.[8]
