Biography

Dorothy Letha Newton was born on 4 March 1900. She was a twin with Frederick Newton; they were the children of Andrew Newton and his 1st wife: Mary G. (Whitty) Newton. Baby Frederick died on 22 September 1900, leaving Dorothy as the oldest daughter of the couple. On the 1910 US Census she was 10 years old, recorded living with her parents in Newport city, Newport County, Rhode Island, USA. ^[1]

Ten years later on the 1920 US Census, she was 20 years old, single, still living with her parents, now with 4 younger siblings, in Newport, Newport, Rhode Island, USA. ^[2]

She passed away in 1985. ^[3]
