Peter newton 2 was born in Caroline county Virginia to Peter newton 1 who was born in 1721 and came here from Ireland; after the war he settled in Harrods berg then moved with his son to bullitt county Kentucky Be lived to be burred in one of fort Knox cemeteries. A big stone was placed on his grave but was only allowed to take picture of it before it was laid. He served at the falls of the Ohio with George Rogers Clark.
