Biography

When Parthenia Newton was born on October 17, 1839, in Stafford, Virginia, her father, Gustavus, was 27, and her mother, Eleanor, was 29. She married John E Green on January 1, 1855, in King George, Virginia. They had 15 children in 27 years. She died on March 8, 1917, in White Oak, Virginia, having lived a long life of 77 years, and was buried there.
