Biography

Mary was born in 1792. She passed away about 1858.

23 Dec 1833. Agreement among the heirs of Samuel Newton and his widow Ann Newton about the division of his estate and her rights during her remaining lifetime. Specifically his heirs were: Barnett Newton; Charlotte B. Newton & Isaac Newton, minors; Marian (signed Mary Ann) Newton; Jacob Best; James Tootle (signed Tutle); Isaac Conner; Samuel Newton; David B. Newton; and Reuben Newton. Widow to have a life estate and thereafter the land shall be sold and the funds divided equally. Witnesses: W. G. Hunter, Lewis Lanier, J.P. Recorded 9 Jan 1834. [1] Note: In addition they had three more children who died without children before he did.
