Mary was born about 1810. She was the daughter of Mary McMahon and James Neylan.
Mary married Michael O'Loughlin at Killaloe in Ireland in 1837 in the presence of Patrick Neylon and Margaret Neylon National Library of Ireland; Dublin, Ireland; Microfilm Number: Microfilm 02472 / 05 [1] Children included:
The couple travelled to Australia in 1854. Mary was aged 34, and husband Michael is listed as a "Mason" aged 35. Children on the Passenger manifest: Patrick (13), Mary (11) Anne (9) Catherine (7) Michael (3) Peter (17), John (15) and James (Infant). They were also travelling with another O'Louglin family JOhn and his wife Bridget and their children. John was a labourer, and other passengers on the manifest are either carpenters, wheelwrights, or masons. The arrived in Melbourne on March 1854, aboard the "KENT".
