Biography
Christopher Aloyicious Nichol was born in 1871, child of Francis Thomas Nichol and Ann McGivern.
In 1892, Christopher married Mary Jane Sullivan, and they had at least six children. They lived in a house at 5108 N. Oakley Avenue.
According to information provided by nephew, James M Curry, in 1963, Chris was on the City Fire Dept all of his life and retired in 1932. He died in 1941 and was buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery along with wife Mary Jane and son Robert Patrick.
