Biography
John Nicholas was the son of Henry and Sarah Nicholas. He was baptised on 13 July 1823 at the parish of Paul in Cornwall. Judging by his age at death, he was born in 1822 or 1823.[1][2]
He married (Margaret) Jane Mathews in 1853 in Victoria.[3]
John Nicholas died in 1908 in Poowong, aged 85.[2]
