She came from England to New Zealand in 1875 after a brief time at Hobart, and married James Robinson in 1878. She was active in the St. Mary's Catholic Church parish of Whanganui. [2]
She passed away in February 1938 age 83 and was survived by her husband, four sons James (Auckland), John, Joseph, and William (Wanganui); and three daughters Mrs. A. J. Barron (Featherson), Mrs. A. Stewart (Wanganui) and Mrs A. Bland (New Plymouth). There were 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren at this time. [3]
