Memories

Grandmother raised me! She took me and Brenda out of the merry-go-round of cruelty and abuse of family and Children's Services!

Grandfather was raised by his Uncle George and did not go home to his dad until after Uncle George's death and this was under threat of his own death by his cousin Obera Ellis Withers.

Family and Children's Services, State of Georgia. Case worker was a Mrs Fairly, My uncle, Officer Dovard Ellis, APD, Mrs. Knowles, Caretaker, if she was a typical caretaker, well there are not enough nightmares available to describe this system.

Words from the mouths of O'Bera, Uncle Earl and their daughter Mary Ruth! They were discussing this when I came into their house at 14 years of age! Mary Ruth had just returned from England and had married Mr Soosby! He was not there! I had come to get Cousin Obera' s insulin for her diabetes from Combee Drug Store at the location in Lakewood!

This information came from All of Grandfather's Children! Aunt Ethel in particular was very clear about the details because she was on crutches the rest of her life. It is now believed that Mattie, Martha Ann so called Dantzler was in fact Matty Martha Ann Rush, as were most of her Children! THE FACT that a Lie about has been put forth about their wedding date has shown the lie to Attorney Dantzler's version of affairs. Grandfather Henry Rush, called Susannah home to help their son, she did Not die in America! According to the records found at My Heritage.com that lists Great-Grandmother's birth at 1833 and her wedding to Mr Rush at 1847. Grandmother was her second child after Henry Jr.
