Lazarus Nichols was born on July 5, 1809[1] in North Carolina[2] to Nathaniel Nichols and Susannah Ward.
On May 22, 1828, Lazarus married Elizabeth Morris in Trigg County, Kentucky.[3]
According to the 1850 census, Lazarus lived with Elizabeth and their children, Eliza, Mary, Sarah, Harriet, Merissa, James, Almaria, Noah, Francis, Hosea, and Susannah in Greene County, Missouri.[2]
Lazarus died on March 31, 1878. He is buried in the Marshfield Cemetery in Marshfield, Missouri.[1]
