Cordelia and Jane were listed as two separate people in the bio of W. Walter Nichols by Agnes Nichols Williams and published in 1991 in the Benton County History. The brief information gave her birthdate as 1828, and that she married Harry Thurman. Research by Agnes Nichols Williams also listed as two individuals.
However, it is now believed that they were one and the same.
