Gladys was born on 15 September 1897 in Sanford, Manitoba. She was the daughter of George Nichols and Kate (Poole) Nichols.[1]

In the 1926 census Gladys (age 29) was the wife of Henry Mansell in Macdonald, Manitoba, Canada.[2]

Gladys died at the age of 79 on 17 April 1977 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Gladys was buried after 17 April 1977 in Thompson in the Park Home and Cemetary.
