Biography

  • Married Ann Burrill on 30 Dec 1750 @ Stratford, CT

His will is dated 25 June 1793 and proved on 4 October 1794 in Stratford. He mentions his wife, Abigail, his daughter, Charity Lyon, wife of Zalmon Lyon, his daughter-in-law, Joanna (now wife of Joshua Curtiss, his grandson Theophilus Nichols, Stevenson Nichols (son of Ely Nichols), Walter Lyon (son of Zalmon Lyon), Ely Nichols, and "his friend and brother (in law)" Zachariah Coe.[1]

In 1795, his estate distribution was set out to Charity Lyon, wife of Zalmon Lyon, Walker Lyon, Ely Nichols, and Stephen Nichols, son of John Nichols.[2]
