Biography

Mary Nichols was born in about 1871 in Erie County, New York to Eli Nichols and Mary Church.

In 1875, Mary resided with her parents and siblings in Aurora, Erie, New York. Her father was a farm laborer. ^[1]

In 1880, the Nichols family resided in Holland, Erie, New York. ^[2]

Mary wed Aden Lowell in 1887. He was a railroad laborer. In 1900-1910, they lived in Machias, Cattaraugus, New York with their two children, Floyd and Bertha. ^{[3] [4][5]} In 1915, they lived in Franklinville, Cattaraugus, New York. ^[6]

Mary lived with her son, Floyd, in Richmond, Ontario, New York in 1940. ^[7]
