Biography

George Stewart Nicholson was baptised at St Margaret, Rochester on 24 February 1806. [1] He served in Bengal[2] Arthur also ascribed a wife, a Miss Burns, but in 1851 Stewart says he is unmarried. George died on 28th October 1857 and was buried at St Margaret, Rochester on 4 November. [3]

"Frances Nicholson died 18th November 1853 Aged 50 years. George Stewart Nicholson died 28th October 1857 aged 51 years" [4]
