1900 Charles Anthony Nicholson was born 18 Dec 1900 in Marion Township (near Mount Pleasant), Henry County, Iowa, USA.[1] He was the son of Peter Nicholson and Genevieve Furthmyre.
1910 The Nicholson family resided in Oxford, Johnson County, Kansas, USA at the time of the 1910 US Census, which records father Peter's employment as "huckster." The household comprised:
1930 When Charles was about 29 years old he lived with his mother, father, and siblings. He was married to Clara and had two daughters. Charles was a salesman in manufacturing and his father was farming. The family comprised:
1940 Charles and Clara had been living in Wisconsin for at least the last five years and were in 1940 living in Racine, Racine County, Wisconsin. They had added two sons to their family. Charles worked as a machinist in an electrical applicance factory.
1986 Charles Anthony Nicholson died in Racine, Wisconsin in Aug 1986. He was 86 years old.[5]
Research Notes
Paternal relationship is confirmed through Y-chromosome DNA testing. Ronald Nicholson and Gary Dean Nicholson match on 35 out of 37 markers (see YSearch IDs _____ and BQ67C) thereby confirming their direct paternal lines back to their MRCA Benjamin Nicholson.
