Charles William Neville Nicholson was born on 30 December 1878 in Aldershot, Hampshire, England.[1][2]
However, he grew up in Ireland and was living in Limerick City with his parents and siblings on the 1901 Irish Census.[3]
According to family sources, he was a Sapper in the Royal Engineers during World War I. This has yet to be confirmed due to loss of Army records during World War II.
He married Mary Ann Smyth on 18 December 1919 in Croydon, Surrey.[4]
He passed away on 27 February 1959 in South Molton, Devon.[5]
