Biography
Franklin Nickel was born near Bluffs Springs in Cass county Illinois on 5 January of 1867. His parents were Charles Nickel and Maria Jockisch.[1] At two years of age the family moved to a farm near Concord Illinois, where he resided until he moved into Concord in 1921 where he became engaged int the plumbing and heating business. [2]
Franklin and Clara Gaddis were married on 8 November of 1893 [3] and together they raised seven children, listed below.
He died after a brief illness on 2 June of 1932 in Concord, Illinois.[4][5]
