Private Eleazer Nickerson Sr. served with Barnstable County Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.

Eleazer Nickerson was born on April 2, 1718, in Yarmouth, Massachusetts, the youngest child of John Nickerson and Elizabeth Baker. He married Sarah Bearse, daughter of Benajmin Bearse and Sarah Cobb, on February 17, 1742, in Dennis, Massachusetts. They had five children in 18 years. He died on October 17, 1800, in Dennis, Massachusetts, having lived a long life of 82 year. He was buried in South Dennis, Massachusetts and his tombstone reads "83rd year of his life".
