Biography
Walter was born in 1901. He was the son of Elwin Arno Nickerson and Martha Bradley.
Walter lived with his parents and brothers in Waddington, Saint Lawrence, New York, United States. He attended Waddington
Schools and then in 1924 began working as an automobile salesman.
He married Leta Leola Burwell on 1 August 1924 at St. Lawrence, New York. They had two sons.
Walter was the head of the automobile sales agency of Walter E. Nickerson & Son, Potsdam's oldest automobile dealers and among the oldest in the county.
He passed away in 1974.
