Biography
Became an Ensign in the 45th Ft 9th February 1790 and joined his regiment in the West Indies. He was promoted Lt February 12th 1793. During its time in the Caribbean the regiment saw action against the French as part of the French Revolutionary Wars, at Martinique, Dominica and Les Saintes. d. 17.5.1797 of yellow fever in the West Indies

The printed version was transcribed in 2002 to computer by Alistair Gordon, tree_family@hotmail.com), who inherited copy No.8, together with the contents of the booklet of Nicolls biographies also authored by Oliver C.C. Nicolls.
