Biography

Sarah was born in 1860. Her parents were Antonino Nicolosi and Luigia Caronia.^[1] Sarah Capra immigrated in 1903.^[2]

Sarah Capra was enumerated as wife of the head of household at 1775 Albion Street, Los Angeles Assembly District 74, Los Angeles County, California for the April 23, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1863 in Italy and married. She was a labeler in an olive factory. She was the mother of seven children which were all living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Samuel Capra, son Tony Capra, son Frank Capra and daughter Anna Capra.^[2]

Rosie Capra was enumerated as head of the household at 1775 Albion Street, Los Angeles Assembly District 65, Los Angeles County, California for the January 17, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1865 in Italy and widowed. See was a bottler in an olive factory and owned her home free of mortgage as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are son Frans R Capra and daughter Antoinette Capra.^[3]

Sarah Lazatozera was listed as the mother of Antoinette Capra who wed Samuel H Huffsmith October 18, 1924 in Los Angeles County, California. The father was listed as Samuel Capra. The groom's father was listed as Edward J Huffsmith and his mother Lizzie A Beeman.^[4]

Nicolosi was listed as the mother of Frank Capra, who died September 3, 1991 in Riverside County, California.^[5]

Rosaria "Serah" Nicolosi Capra is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.^[6]
