The biography for Hans Nielsen is empty. What can you add?
This biography is a rough draft. It was auto-generated by a GEDCOM import and needs to be edited.
Have you taken a DNA test for genealogy? If so, login to add it. If not, see our friends at Ancestry DNA.

I understand your concerns. Here are my answers.
1) General James Winchester is a major player in Tennessee History. I am the Tennessee Project Leader. I wrote his profile, then adopted the profile to be managed by the project. It may be featured in a Profile of the Week in the near future.
2) The warning is a standard warning for all project protected profiles. See here for questions about how to work on project protected profiles.
3) I am also a descendant, I just haven't gotten the line completed yet. I do mine one at a time, compiling all sources before I make a new profile so I can complete it all at once.
Please let me know if you have further questions or need help.

I am well aware of the fact that dates and places can be changed. But I wish to point out that for Sergeant Matthew Mullins, there are a total of 18 sources, with a will and other items. This profile is in a project, and has a note to not merge until consulting with J Ricketts. Your Matthew Mullins has one source, which is one source that taken by itself, does not equate as a hard source.
Finally, the main goal of WikiTree is accuracy. That means not forcing dates and places to fit a certain profile if you think that they are the same. It means doing the work and proving that your information is correct. I have fully researched my relative. Your's is poorly researched. So the burden is on you to prove what you say.

Yes I know about the origins of France for this family. It surprised me that he would have been born in France two generations later - interesting clue to follow.

If you have not done so, set your Followed preferences to include DNA.
It's not hard to add DNA test information to profiles on WikiTree, just make sure you add the tests to the actual test participant's profile & set the Privacy to ‘private w/ public biography & family tree’ to show the tester's part of our tree. For help see How to DNA on WikiTree
We also encourage you to join our Google+ Community for DNA discussions, questions & new information.
