Bette N. Oberman, 71, of Enola died Thursday, July 16 1998 in Harrisburg Hospital. She was born in Lemoyne to the late Benjamin F. and Ruth (Blessing) Niess.
She was a retired piano teacher; a member and former pianist of Grace United Methodist Church, Lemoyne, and a charter member and former pianist of East Shore Evangelical Free Church, Dauphin; a former pianist with the West Shore Choral Society; and a volunteer for Tressler Lutheran Social Services, Mechanicsburg.
She was the widow of William F. Oberman.
Surviving are two sons, Todd N. of Shermans Dale and Joel F. of Harrisburg; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services were held July 20 in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill. Musselman Funeral Home, Lemoyne, handled arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Tressler Lutheran Social Services (Children's Services or Wilderness School), 960 Century Drive, Mechanicsburg 17055.
