Maria Stina Niklasdotter was born in August 1815, in Stala. Maria Stina was married to Frans Mauritz Bredberg in October 1846,[1] shortly before the birth of their second son.
The first household records for Stala only begin in 1849, but Frans Mauritz Bredenberg is given as the absent head of household through the years, accompanied by a note that he has been whipped for theft once, and that he is "at sea", probably gone to America.[2][3][4]
In the household record beginning in 1869 Maria Stina is noted as a widow and her oldest son takes over as head of household.[5]
Maja Stina Niklasdotter passed away at Kärreberg in Stala in 1890.[6] In the death record she is, again, noted as a widow.[7]
