Biography
Lars Nielsen was born at Kaldestad, Kvinnherad in 1782, the son of Nils Larsson Kaldestad and Guro Gunnarsdatter. He was married at Kvinnherad in 1809 to Guro Johansdatter.[1] He passed away in Kvinnherad in 1867.
Research Notes
Bill Sandve: Although Geni.com reference shows death date/location listed as Naustdal in 1860, the parish entry records an age which does not appear to work for the Lars Nilsen shown here, and an 1865 Census record disproves it. The parents shown also appear to be in error. Hence, I'm detaching him from the couple: Nils Ingebrigtsson and Brite Olavsdatter. The correct parents are documented in the bio above.
