Note: Link to family search record is again, linked to a pedigree, where in some cases, there seems to be no proven link that the persons marriage record is same person as child born to parents.

Nisbet-2198 and Nisbet-1849 do not represent the same person because: needs proof they are same person added research note that it is possible but needs proof
Nisbet-3264 and Nisbet-1849 appear to represent the same person because: same parents, same/similar birth, seems to be some difference based on birth vs. baptism
Nisbet-3264 (may represent 2 different people) and is a duplicate as son of James Nisbet and Lemon- but not 100% proof a duplicate as husband of Amos in my opinion. So needs to be possibly unlinked or proven before merging?.
Baptism abstract on profile is abstract from original record in Edinburgh Scotland when i stayed there, so is the preferred reference as it contains more info than family tree reference

Mine are from the actual parish records that I took abstracts from at the National archives in Scotland Edinburgh and in person at Scotlands people located at the National archives in Edinburgh. You will find the same indexes for these records or images if you wish to pay for them on Scotlands people that I see you use. (As these are the originals, I PREFER them to Family search which many others prefer, so that is what I use on the profiles I manage.)
I have found errors both for indexes on family search and also had Scotlands people correct their indexes, for about a dozen Nisbet records on their indexs from errors I found when working on them. I could also have made errors in my abstracts, so I usually compare them to get it as correct as possible. Unfortunately or fortunately for Nisbet genealogy, because of fire damage I had to find another place to live for a year and rented a lot of that time in Edinburgh. Spent hours at the archives in Edinburgh great to get your mind on something else. Glad to see you are working on this family so it gets completed documented connected and corrected.
I have not seen any documentation as you claim that says these 2 are the same person. Considering only 11% of the records of baptism marriages and burials in Scotland at this time are recorded there is almost a 90% chance that a marriage of James son of James and Joan Lemon was never registered.
It is true There is a record that says
A James Nisbet James Nisbet (1790-) is son of James Nisbet butcher and Joan Lemon
Baptism (abstract of Old Parish Records Scotland) Parish of Haddington baptized 29 Aug 1790 born 26 Aug 1790 James Nisbet son of James Nisbet butcher and Joan Lemon
It is also true There is records that says
A James Nisbet James Nisbet (abt.1790-) married Alison Amos
Banns/Marriages Old Parish Records Scotland Haddington 30 Mar 1813 paid the dues James Nisbet and Alison Amos Irregularly married 2 Mar 1813 at Edinburgh
Banns/Marriages Old Parish Records Scotland St Cuthbert's 30 Mar 1813 James Nisbet flesher St Johnshill and Alison Amos
The marriage record does not give his parents names or even age or birthplace or any other indication that this is the same James.
There is no record that I have seen that says that these are the same James. It is a possibility but needs documentation. Until then it is speculation. If documentation is found they will then be merged as duplicates. Until then they are definitely not to be considered duplicates.
I suspect you have done Autosomal DNA that is usually only reliable for 5-7 generations and gives many false matches. To be able to use that as proof you need triangulation.
They could be the same person but I see nothing that is proof or documentation so far that they are. Please give me the documentation that is proof they are the same person and I will merge them until then they can not be merged..
