John Carroll Nisbet born 4 Jul 1862 Jackson, Union, North Carolina, USA. He was the son of John Nisbet and Mary Nelson. He passed away 17 Feb 1904 and was buried Tirzah Presbyterian Church Cemetery Waxhaw, Union County, North Carolina, United States of America
He married Mar 1900 to Carrie Rodgers (1881-1936)

Farmer's Mysterious Death. John C. Nisbet, a prominent citizen of the Jacksonham section of Lancaster county, was found dead on his plantation with a wire stretched around his neck. He had been engaged during the day in putting up a wire fence and not returning home at the usual time search was made for him His death is a mystery.[1]
