Biography

Alexander is the son of William Nisbet and Margaret Murray. Alexander exchanged his lands of Dean with his cousin Patrick Nisbet's Craigintinnie in 1672. His estimated birth date is based on the marriage date.

He married Katherine Porterfield, daughter of Walter Porterfield. ^{[1] [2] [3]}
