Better check your bio. It has your surname in it twice, so if you want to call yourself 'Anonymous' - you aren't according to your bio! ;)

Thanks Leonie for fixing my mistake... I was a bit hasty there!

Hi Leonie,

This is a courtesy e-mail to see how things are going. Are you enjoying WikiTree so far?

Have the tips in the New Member How-Tos been helpful? Most of us still have some questions after reviewing them.

Congratulations on getting connected to the main WIkiTree! Did you see that your DNA test has now populated up and down the tree to help you find matches?

I'm here to help with questions about how WikiTree works. Click my name to send me a private message or ask in the comment section of my page. I'll get back to you by the end of the day.

P.S. If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section on your profile page.

Hi Leonie

Thank you for posting on George Jorgen Nissen I’m curious if your related to these Nissen’s as I am? So many different leads in the g2g I know per the obituary they were 7th day Adventists. One lead shows his possible parents as Lutheran?

Kind regards Andrew

Hi Leonie,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or special event. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.

Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

Hi Leonie,

A warm welcome to WikiTree. You are now a full member and can add your family to the big tree!

Click here to start with our New Member How-To Pages. They will save you time, energy and frustration as you add your family profiles.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree as much as I have. You never know when you will find a lost family member or ancestor. Or maybe find a hidden family secret about an ancestor. Genealogy to me is like being a detective looking for clues into the past.

Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile as the links will work from there.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm always happy to help!

Hello Leonie and Welcome to WikiTree!

The email we just sent has helpful links to get you started.

WikiTree is different than other genealogy websites because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we work together on our share ancestors!

When you confirm your email address, you’ll be given an opportunity to volunteer to help document our collective family history.

Use the Tags and comments to tell us about your genealogical interests. It can be a name, like SMITH, or a place, like SCOTLAND. Be sure to click the "Enter Tag(s) and Volunteer" button when you finish!

When you volunteer, one of our Greeters will confirm your membership. Then you'll be able to add your family to the tree!
