Biography
When George John NIX was born in 1790 in Orangeburg, South Carolina, his father, Robert, was 37 and his mother, Susan, was 27.
He married Mary " Polly" Welch in 1810 in South Carolina. They had nine children in 19 years. [1]
He died in 1855 in Perry, Alabama, at the age of 65.
