Samuel William Nixon was born[1] on Tuesday, 19th April 1870, the son of Samuel George Nixon and Charlotte (Rayner) Nixon, in McDonalds Creek, Erudgere[2], New South Wales, Australia.

Samuel was a batchelor.

Samuel passed away[3] on Wednesday, 2nd January 1963 at Canterbury Hospital, Campsie[4], formerly of Mudgee, New South Wales, Australia, aged 92 years, 8 months, 13 days.
