Biography
Margaret was christened on 25 December 1815 at Mowbreck or The Willows-Rc, Wesham, Lancashire, England, the daughter of Xpheri Nixon and Helenae. The "-Rc" in the place and the Latinized names indicate it may have been a Roman Catholic christening.
In 1850, Margaret was living with her sister Agnes Hardman's family.
