She passed away in 1903 in Kilcogy, County Cavan, Ireland.[1].
Research Notes
First marriage with Hugh Durkin
According to Rose's living great grandson she was first married to Hugh Durkin, then after his death she remarried, to James Brady.
Supporting this claim are the following:
Her death record lists her last name at the time as Brady, but lists her daughter-in-law as Ann Durkin[1]. This is likely Ann Durkin, the wife of Rose's claimed son Andrew Durkin. Note however that there is an inconsistency in this record as it also identifies her as a widow, while census records show that her second husband James Brady survived her until 1911[2][3][4].
Birth year estimated from age given on death record, but censuses and other records vary greatly[1].
Other mentions
She is listed as a sponsor for the Baptism of James Lynch , son of Thomas Lynch and Margaret Murtagh of Kilcogy [8].
