Hamilton was a blacksmith, at Kelly Creek, York Co., NB. He died from the kick of a horse he was shoeing. From his will, dated 3 Nov. 1830, proved 22 Dec. 1830, it states: Sons Robert Nixon & John Nixon entire estate when they come of age.
