He was murid (disciple) of Khalifo Mahmood Nizamani. A letter of Khalifo Mahmood is written to him (page 99 of Maktubat), advising him not to take part in fight against the British colonialists.
He had one son and three daughters:
Ghulamullah
Daughter 1, married to Ali Muhammad son of Ismail Khan
Daughter 2, married to Hasan Ali son of Ahmed Khan Nizamani Aludani
Daughter 3, married to Abdullah Khan Nizamani Aludani
He died in 1307 AH, 1889-90, according to Master Abdul Hafeez son of Haji Khan Nizamani.
As per British official records, he was Jageerdar.
