Davis was Choctaw.

Davis was born 4 Mar 1870 at Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory, the son of Stephens and Suffie Noah. Davis passed away 30 Jun 1912 at Albion, Pushmataha, Oklahoma. He is buried at the Noah Cemetery, Albion, Pushmataha County, Oklahoma.[2]
