Researchers have questioned the feasibility of this family group, particularly Brian Bailey James Genealogy 3, as the mother would have been 65 when Richard James was born. Is Brian right in suggesting there is another generation between William James / Mary Noble and the younger sons William, John and Richard? Edward's birth date is 19 years before son William. Most agree that there is a still younger son Nathaniel b. abt 1799 in that group.
