Death of An Old Resident. — Another old and much respected resident of this district has joined the silent majority in the person of Mr. John Noble of Glennie's Creek,- near Dulwich. For many years Mr. Noble had been in indifferent health brought on we believe from the effects of a fall from a horse. In his young days the deceased was an excellent horseman, and placed to his credit a good few wins of races successfully negotiated by him on some of the best nags at a time when horse racing could truthfully be termed the King of Sports. Mr. Noble was one of the oldest residents of Glennie's Creek, where he owned a nice property. He leaves a widow and several grown up sons and daughters, all of whom are married.
