Biography

Samuel was born in 1845. He was the son of Andrew Noble and Susan Houston.

In 1850 Samuel is 5 years old living with his family in [1]Savannah River Regiment, Abbeville, South Carolina,


He was in the Civil War, Private with 20th. Regiment, South Carolina. Infantry Company B [2] Captain Jas. M. Jones under the command of Colonel Lawrence M. Keitt, Lieutenant Colonel Olin M. Dantzler and Major A. Mimms

Samuel W Noble married Elizabeth Catherine "Betty" Middleton in 1866 Abbeville or Edgeville, South Carolina

In 1900 Samuel, a widower and children Mary, Joseph and Jane are at home are living in [4]Beat 2, Tallahatchie, Mississippi

In 1920 owning his own farm Samuel has his children with him, Alex, Mary E and Kate[5] living in Beat 2, Tallahatchie, Mississippi

He passed away in 1924 at the ag eof 79 and buried at Rocky Branch Cemeteries located in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi Find A Grave: Memorial #39757254
