Biography

Charles was born 1 Feb 1829 in Albany County, New York.

Charles Noble and Louisa Salsbury were married about 1855.

In 1855 he was living in E.D. Western, Ward 3, Albany City, Albany, New York.[1] The household included Sarah Blackall 59, Thos Blackall 22, Sarah Blackall 19, Chas Noble 25 and Louisa Noble 22. Thomas and Charles were both bookbinders. Louisa had lived in Albany 3 years.

In 1860 he was living in 6th Ward Albany City, Albany, New York.[2] The household included Robt N Sawyer 33, Chas E Noble 31 and Lousia E Nobel 28. Robert owned a bookstore. Charles was a bookbinder.

Charles registered for the US Civil War draft in Albany, New York.[3]

In 1865 he was living in District Northern, Ward 08, Albany, Albany, New York.[4] The household included Charles Noble 35, wife Louisa Noble 33, daughter Letta Noble 3, son Russel Nobel 1, and servant Mary Wilson 22. Charles was a paper ruler, born in Albany, married twice and the parent of 2 children. Louisa was born in Pennsylvania, the mother of 1 child. (This doesn't make sense)

In 1880 he was living in Albany, Albany, New York.[7] The household included Charles E Noble 51, wife Louisa E Noble 47, and son Wm R Noble 16. Charles was a ruler in a printing house. William was a clerk in a music store.

In 1892 he was living in Albany, Albany, New York.[8] The household included Chas E Noble 63, Russell W Noble 28, Louise E Noble 59 and Alice B Noble 28. Charles was a book binder. Russell was a clerk.

He died 9 Dec 1894 in Albany, Albany County, New York[9] and is buried in Spring Brook Cemetery, Seneca Falls, Seneca County, New York.[10]
