George was born September 20, 1837 in Coshocton County, Ohio. He married Catharine September 11, 1873 in Liberty Township, Ringgold County, Mount Ayr, Iowa. He died on January 28, 1900, in Valley Falls, Greary, Kansas. And is buried in Oliver Cemetery Lot 95, in Ringgold County, Mount Ayr, Iowa. [1]
