Biography
Roderick John was born on November 30, 1883, in St. Joseph, Ontario, in the County of Russell. On April 10, 1909, at the age of 25, he married Alexina Gagnon, 25, the daughter of Ludger Gagnon and Jessie Lepage of Chrysler, Ontario, in the Church of St. Francis of Assisi in Ottawa. They raised three sons and one daughter. He passed away in May of 1948 and was buried in the Notre Dame Cemetery in Ottawa.
