Pat was the youngest of three children of Edward and Anna Kolda Nolan.[1] She grew up in Davenport, Iowa.[2]
When she was 20 years old, she was selling home appliances and had completed two years of high school.[3]
Pat died in Davenport, Iowa at age 75. She is buried with her parents and brother in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.[4]
