Biography

Thomas Johnson Noland, son of William Noland and his wife Catharine Callender, daughter of Robert,^[1] was born 22 February 1799,^[2] probably in Loudoun County, Virginia (possibly in 1797^[1]).

He married Sarah Catharine Myers.^[1] Their children were

1. Fannie Fenton Noland,^[4] married John Blundon^[5]
2. William Berkeley Noland,^[1] born 23 April 1827, died 16 October 1901;^[2] married Lucy T. Chinn^[1]
3. Humphrey Brooke Powell Noland, born 29 May 1837, died 30 May 1857^[2]
4. Robert Callender Noland,^[6] born 6 May 1839,^[2] died 26 September 1911 in Tennessee;^[7] married (1) in 1865 to Drusilla Davis, (2) in 1868^[5] to Sarah Barbour Yantis^[6]

Thomas Johnson Noland died 6 August 1857.^[2]

I re-adopted this profile in May 2023, when I was working on clearing a personal maintenance category that it had been under. I had orphaned this profile when I thought another WikiTree member was interested in taking on its management.
