Biography

Robert H Moyer's GEDcom file says that Virginia Lee York married a Mr. Durham, and that they were parents together of two or three children. There is no evidence of such a marriage.

Her first husband was Robert Elton Teetor. Their marriage ended by 1946. They were parents of one son and two daughters; one of those children is alive as of 2021, and her privacy will be preserved by not including detailed information about her.

Her second husband appears to have been a Mr. Whittaker or Whitaker, sometime in the early 1960's. Nor further information in regard to that union is available, as of 03 Nov 2021.

Her third husband was Clyde Vernon Hinkle. They were married in North Carolina on 11 Sep 1972, divorced on 27 Jan 1986. They do not appear to have had any children together.

Her fourth husband was Numa A Perocheau. They married on 14 Feb 1986. No children were born to that relationship. It appears that they remained together until his death.

Her fifth husband was Paul Milton Yokeley. They married in 1996. They were still together at the time of her death.

She appears to have spent most of her life in Guilford County, North Carolina, United States. At the time of her death, she was a member of Rich Fork Baptist Church, Thomasville, Davidson County, North Carolina, United States; she is buried in their cemetery.
