Edith Vobissa Norman, daughter of William Henry Norman, married Edmund Douglas Martin, son of Edmund James Martin, on 7 Nov 1903 in Calcutta, Bengal, India.^[2]

Edith passed away in 1961 - a funeral notice was published 17 Aug 1961 in the Courier-Mail: "MARTIN, Mrs. Edith Volrosa. 107 Jerrang Street, Indooroopilly. - The Relatives and Friends of Mr. and Mrs. E.C. Martin (Sydney), Mrs. D.R. Fisher (Indooroopilly), Mr. and Mrs. L.G. Bickle (Indooroopilly), Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Campbell (Chillingham, N.S.W.), and Families, are respectfully advised that the Funeral of their beloved Mother, Mother-in-Law, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother, is appointed to leave St. Peter's Church of England, Rylatt Street and Moggill Road, Indooroopilly, Today, Thursday, for the West Chapel of Mt. Thompson Crematorium, after service commencing at 2:45 p.m."^[3]
